Scarisbrick Hall School has won the Independent Schools Association Award for Excellence and Innovation. At the awards dinner on 15 May in Warwickshire, BBC presenter Juliet Morris announced that Scarisbrick Hall School had beaten the other finalists (CATS College Canterbury and Slindon College) to take the title for 2014.
In selecting the winner, the judges considered the value added data of the school, inspection judgments and innovative provision that has brought about high quality outcomes for all students in their care. Mr Shaw (Headmaster) said that:
“It has been an great year for Scarisbrick Hall School. This award not only recognises excellent teaching and provision, but also the fact that students achieve greater value added in their results than other schools nationally. We have a fantastic, energetic team of staff at the school who are committed to the education and personal development of all of our students.”
Earlier in the year Scarisbrick Hall School became one of only a handful of schools to receive Grade One outcomes for all ages and sections of inspection by the independent schools inspectorate. The role at the school has risen over 20% over the last two years. Next year we will be unveiling a new Science Faculty building, shortly followed by a Sixth Form Centre.
